- Hesap yok; adınızı, e-postanızı ya da telefon numaranızı istemiyoruz.
- Taradığınız kitaplar, sayfa fotoğrafları, notlar ve vurgular yalnızca cihazınızda ve kendi iCloud hesabınızda durur. Biz bunlara erişemeyiz ve hiçbir zaman sunucumuza gönderilmez.
- Kitap aramaları kendi sunucumuz üzerinden yapılır; arama metinleri 30 gün saklanır.
- Rastgele bir kurulum kimliğiyle anonim kullanım sayıları gönderilir; Ayarlar'dan tek dokunuşla kapatılabilir.
- Reklam, izleme ya da üçüncü taraf analiz aracı yok. Veri satmıyoruz.
1. Veri sorumlusu ve iletişim
Bu politika, imagepub iOS uygulaması ("uygulama") ve uygulamanın kullandığı api.imagepub.app sunucusu için geçerlidir. Veri sorumlusu imagepub'dır. Gizlilikle ilgili tüm sorularınız ve talepleriniz için: [email protected]
2. Cihazınızda kalan veriler
Uygulamaya eklediğiniz kitaplar, kitap bilgileri, kapaklar, taranan sayfaların fotoğrafları ve metinleri, okuma konumunuz, yer imleri, vurgular, notlar, okuma süreleri ve raflar yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır.
- Kamera: kamera yalnızca sayfa, kapak ve ISBN barkodu taramak için kullanılır. Metin tanıma (OCR) Apple'ın cihaz üzerindeki teknolojisiyle yapılır; fotoğraflar ve metinler sunucumuza gönderilmez.
- iCloud: iCloud eşitlemesi açıksa bu veriler Apple'ın CloudKit hizmetiyle, yalnızca sizin özel iCloud hesabınızda eşitlenir. Bu veriler Apple'ın gizlilik koşullarına tabidir; biz bu verilere erişemeyiz. Eşitlemeyi Ayarlar'dan kapatabilirsiniz.
- Dışa aktarma yok: taranan kitaplar uygulamadan dışa aktarılmaz ve paylaşılmaz.
- Bildirimler: sabah tarama hatırlatıcısı cihazda oluşturulan yerel bir bildirimdir.
3. Sunucumuza gönderilen veriler
3.1 Kitap arama
Kitap ararken yazdığınız metin (kitap adı, yazar ya da ISBN) kitap bilgilerini bulmak için sunucumuza gönderilir. Sunucumuz sonucu kendi kataloğunda bulamazsa aynı metinle Google Books ve Open Library'de arar; bu durumda bu hizmetlere sizin değil sunucumuzun adresi görünür.
- Arama kaydı: hizmeti iyileştirmek ve kötüye kullanımı önlemek için arama metni, zamanı, yanıt süresi, sonuç sayısı ve (istatistikler açıksa) kurulum kimliğinizin özeti kaydedilir. Bu kayıtlar 30 gün sonra kendiliğinden silinir.
- Katalog: bulunan kitapların herkese açık bilgileri (ad, yazar, yayınevi, ISBN, kapak adresi) kataloğumuzda tutulur. Bu bilgiler sizinle ilişkilendirilmez.
3.2 Anonim kullanım istatistikleri
Uygulamayı geliştirebilmek için, Ayarlar → Gizlilik → "Anonim kullanım istatistikleri" açıkken (varsayılan olarak açık) uygulama en fazla birkaç saatte bir şu özeti gönderir:

Kitap adları, sayfa metinleri, notlar, fotoğraflar ya da konum bu özette yoktur.
- Kapatma: istatistikleri kapattığınızda hiçbir özet gönderilmez ve aramalara kurulum kimliği eklenmez.
- Kimliği sıfırlama: "Kurulum kimliğini sıfırla" ile yeni bir rastgele kimlik üretilir; eski kayıtlar artık cihazınızla ilişkilendirilmez.
- Saklama süresi: 12 ay boyunca hiç görülmeyen kurulumların kayıtları ve günlük özetleri kendiliğinden silinir.
3.3 Duyurular ve uygulama ayarları
Uygulama açılışta sunucudan kısa duyuruları ve bakım durumunu okur. Bu istek kişisel veri içermez.
3.4 Teknik kayıtlar
Her internet isteğinde olduğu gibi IP adresiniz sunucumuza ulaşır.
- Uygulama sunucusu: IP adresini yalnızca kötüye kullanımı önlemek için anlık olarak kullanır (dakikalık istek sınırı; birkaç dakika sonra silinir) ve kayıtlarında saklamaz.
- Ters vekil sunucu: sunucunun önündeki ters vekil sunucu, güvenlik ve hata ayıklama amacıyla IP adresini de içeren erişim kayıtlarını sınırlı bir süre tutar. Bu kayıtlar başka bir amaçla kullanılmaz.
4. Üçüncü taraflar
- Apple (iCloud / CloudKit): yalnızca iCloud eşitlemesi açıksa, kendi hesabınızda. Apple Gizlilik Politikası
- Google Books ve Open Library: kitap bilgileri bu hizmetlerden alınır.
- Kapak görselleri: uygulama kapakları doğrudan bu hizmetlerin sunucularından indirir.
- Sunucumuza ulaşılamazsa: arama metniniz doğrudan bu hizmetlere gönderilir.
- Barındırma: sunucumuz Hetzner Online GmbH'nin Almanya'daki veri merkezinde çalışır. Türkiye'den kullanıyorsanız bu, verilerin yurt dışına aktarılması anlamına gelir.
Uygulamada reklam, izleme, üçüncü taraf analiz ya da reklam SDK'sı yoktur. Verilerinizi satmıyor, kiralamıyor ve reklam amacıyla kimseyle paylaşmıyoruz. Apple'ın App Tracking Transparency anlamında izleme yapmıyoruz.
5. Hukuki dayanak
Kitap araması, istediğiniz hizmeti sunmak için gereklidir. Anonim kullanım istatistikleri ve teknik kayıtlar, hizmeti iyileştirme ve güvenliğini sağlama konusundaki meşru menfaatimize dayanır; istatistikleri istediğiniz an kapatabilirsiniz (KVKK m.5/2-f; GDPR m.6/1-f).
6. Haklarınız
6698 sayılı KVKK'nın 11. maddesi ve GDPR kapsamında verilerinize erişme, düzeltilmesini ya da silinmesini isteme, işlenmesine itiraz etme ve şikâyette bulunma (Türkiye'de Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) haklarına sahipsiniz.
- Hesap olmadığı için: sunucudaki kayıtlar size değil, rastgele bir kuruluma bağlıdır.
- Verileri hemen bağımsızlaştırmak: istatistikleri kapatabilir ya da kurulum kimliğini sıfırlayabilirsiniz.
- Cihazdaki ve iCloud'daki veriler: uygulamayı silmek cihazdaki verileri siler. iCloud'daki verileri iOS Ayarlar → [adınız] → iCloud bölümünden silebilirsiniz.
- Diğer talepler: [email protected] adresine yazabilirsiniz; en geç 30 gün içinde yanıt veririz.
7. Çocuklar
Uygulama çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek çocuklardan kişisel veri toplamaz.
8. Değişiklikler
Bu politika değişirse güncel hâli bu sayfada, yeni yürürlük tarihiyle yayımlanır. Önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içi duyuruyla da bildiririz.
Privacy Policy

- No account; we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- The books you scan, page photos, notes and highlights stay on your device and in your own iCloud account. We cannot access them and they are never sent to our server.
- Book searches go through our own server; search text is kept for 30 days.
- Anonymous usage counts are sent with a random installation ID; you can turn this off with one tap in Settings.
- No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. We do not sell data.
1. Controller and contact
This policy covers the imagepub iOS app (the "app") and the api.imagepub.app server it uses. The controller is imagepub. For any privacy question or request: [email protected]
2. Data that stays on your device
The books you add, their details and covers, photos and text of scanned pages, reading position, bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading time and shelves are stored only on your device.
- Camera: the camera is used only to scan pages, covers and ISBN barcodes. Text recognition (OCR) runs on the device using Apple's technology; photos and text are not sent to our server.
- iCloud: if iCloud sync is on, this data is synced through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud account only. It is subject to Apple's privacy terms and we cannot access it. You can turn sync off in Settings.
- No export: scanned books are never exported or shared from the app.
- Notifications: the morning scan reminder is a local notification created on the device.
3. Data sent to our server
3.1 Book search
The text you type when searching for a book (title, author or ISBN) is sent to our server to find book details. If our catalog has no match, the server searches Google Books and Open Library with the same text; these services then see our server's address, not yours.
- Search log: to improve the service and prevent abuse, we log the search text, time, response time, number of results and (if statistics are on) a hash of your installation ID. These logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Catalog: public details of the books found (title, author, publisher, ISBN, cover address) are kept in our catalog. They are not linked to you.
3.2 Anonymous usage statistics
To improve the app, while Settings → Privacy → "Anonymous usage statistics" is on (on by default), the app sends the following summary at most once every few hours:

Book titles, page text, notes, photos and location are not part of this summary.
- Turning it off: when statistics are off, no summary is sent and no installation ID is attached to searches.
- Resetting the ID: "Reset installation ID" creates a new random ID; older records are no longer associated with your device.
- Retention: records and daily summaries of installations not seen for 12 months are deleted automatically.
3.3 Announcements and app settings
On launch the app reads short announcements and the maintenance status from the server. This request contains no personal data.
3.4 Technical logs
As with any internet request, your IP address reaches our server.
- Application server: it uses the IP address only momentarily to prevent abuse (a per-minute request limit, deleted after a few minutes) and does not store it in its logs.
- Reverse proxy: the reverse proxy in front of the server keeps access logs, including IP addresses, for a limited time for security and debugging. They are not used for any other purpose.
4. Third parties
- Apple (iCloud / CloudKit): only if iCloud sync is on, in your own account. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google Books and Open Library: book details come from these services.
- Cover images: the app downloads covers directly from their servers.
- If our server is unreachable: your search text is sent directly to these services.
- Hosting: our server runs in a Hetzner Online GmbH data center in Germany.
The app contains no advertising, tracking, third-party analytics or ad SDKs. We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising. We do not track you as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency.
5. Legal basis
Book search is necessary to provide the service you request. Anonymous usage statistics and technical logs are based on our legitimate interest in improving and securing the service; you can turn statistics off at any time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); Turkish KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698, Art. 11) you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Since there is no account: server records are tied to a random installation, not to you.
- Unlinking your data immediately: you can turn statistics off or reset the installation ID.
- Data on your device and in iCloud: deleting the app removes the data on your device. You can delete the data in iCloud in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
- Any other request: write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the current version is published on this page with a new effective date. We also announce significant changes through an in-app announcement.
